Candied orange with chocolate |
• 2 untreated oranges
• 250 g of sugar
• 5 cl of orange juice
• 300 g dark chocolate
Stages of preparation:
1 Wash, dry and cut the oranges into slices about 5mm thick.
2 Bring 50cl of water to boil with the sugar and orange juice, dip the slices of oranges in the syrup and cook everything over low heat, covered, about 1 h 30. Stop cooking, let cool in syrup baking for 30 min.
3 Melt the chocolate in a double boiler.
4 Drain one by one the orange slices, dip them in melted chocolate. Dry them on a baking rack before serving.
